Solly himself bought his first big chunk (10%) of Myer at around $1.10, and since getting to the 20% level has pretty much taken his 3% "creep" allowance ASAP at whatever the prevailing price has been.
I got in back when it was looking like the receivers might be called... but I've taken Solly's lead and reinvested every dividend as soon as possible.
Good business this one, they don't come around too often. The IPO needs to be seen in the context that it was a PE business completely selling out. That hasn't happened much in IPO land since.
