Very true, something has changed, well, most things….. and not necessarily for the better. WAM seems almost singularly focussed on accumulating assets under management, rather than performance and visibility ! I also hold WLE which are also “average” both in SP and performance. They are even below the bog standard 200 day Moving average. It’s not surprising that you see the masses migrating to ETFs and when you see results like this, you want to join them and rue the fact that you hadn’t quite some time ago ! My picks are far outperforming the WAM funds, and they aren’t even speccies ! I have my eye on a couple of managed funds with excellent longer term results and I think they in part will receive a donation from me shortly on behalf of WAM.
