They did drop the divi recently ... via reduction in franking % from 100% to 60%. IMHO a sneaky way to do it.
Most here will be able to use those franking credits.
But I wonder how many grey haired nomads only see the 6 monthly cheque show up and not think about the franking credits until it is too late:
Divi Was $0.0775 + 100% franking $0.0332 = $0.1107 ea gross
Divi Now $0.0775 + 60% franking $0.0199 = $0.0974 ea gross
A loss of $0.0132 ea share ... or a 12% reduction ... 12% reduction and the team sail along as if nothing happened.
