Do the numbers in this announcement actually stack up?
Should the $853k be the total to be received for R&D for FY17 not an additional amount. I understand that a company can only claim up to 50% of its total R&D on O/S spend. Given that Recce have already received $427k for Australian spend then double that is $854k. This would mean 50% for Australian spend and 50% for O/S spend.
I rang Recce’s media advisor seeking clarification and he was not able to answer my question.
Does anyone else have any thoughts as the R&D space is not simple to understand?
