The issue is the one bad year has wiped out all the outperformance from previous years
Below is a chart of the All Ords vs HM! since HM1 inception to visualise this
In rough terms ignoring dividends if you invested in HM1 at inception you would be down 10% if you invested in the All Ords Index you would be up 20%
No one can predict what may happen in the future but from inception in 2018 until now you would have been better off buying an index fund.
I wish it was different as I like the concept and charitable focus but have been shocked by the recent performance which has highlighted the risk in the strategy which was heavily weighted to medium cap tech.This risk has.been acknowledged by management in recent updates and hopefully their proposed modifications to the strategy will get things back on track
