So as per the extract from A1M the treatment charges are set for the year with the smelters and most off take agreements including HGO are linked to these prices … in CY24 the charges were TC/RC 80/8 and now the CY25 charges have reduced to 21.25 / 2.125 ….
HGO will see a reduction this year in treatment / refining charges of circa $5 to 6m based on the lower charges.

To help those that may not be sure of the charges …. the TC (treatment charge) is based on the amount of copper concentrate in tonnes treated in USD / tonne ( which is usually approx 4 times the copper component so HGO will be shipping about 50,000 tonnes of concentrate to produce 12,000 tonnes of copper )
the RC (refining charge) is based in cents per pound of copper metal recovered in the smelting process.
