There are regulatory bodies and processes in place, that is true. But the regulators are over worked and understaffed.
Occasionally they need to be prodded and have issues bought to their attention that would otherwise go unnoticed.
Antwalker was one of these situations. There were multiple issues and speed bumps, and at the end of the day it was pointless discovering if there was a Silica resource as it will never be mined.
Sparkler it has to be pointed out also has developmental hurdles… relating to groundwater and soil acidification in a pristine catchment. Its difficult to see how these can be managed or mitigated?
Allups multiple project strategy makes sense, but some projects shouldn’t have made it past the ranking session at the pub.
Most of the SW projects are in this boat.
It also has to be said that most of the other projects appear unencumbered, particularly the newer ones…
