A post with 25 posts of informative content is great learning/confidence building for SHs or potential SHs of CVN...

it is no personal attack on anybody but listen with your eyes rather than speak with your fingers.

The client STO, is paying for the spread.

Noble being the rig owner is having the whip cracked by STO reps onboard and even when a cyclone is forecast the STO reps are still trying to milk the last minutes prior to any down manning.

Contractors - cementers, mud engineers, wire line, MWD, Casing hands, Well head techs blah blah, there is an extremely long list associated with getting a well drilled.

The actual total daily cost is probably closer to a million a day, Tom Prosser being a Jack up is cheaper per day than a semi or drill ship, the shallower water speeds everything up.

I've been around cvn for the medium term, I thought we would be worth more already by now.
