One issue with AQZ and similar small caps is that there are only 100 million shares on the market. Between Qantas (now holding 20%); and the others in top 20 they hold 92% of these. Not much left for others and also means the price is subject to large fluctuations if any single holder needs cash or wants to take profits. On Jan 14 I topped up at $2.17 which I thought was a bargain. Those that don't trust the fundamentals panic and sell while those in for the long term push that 92% up further.
It will definitely hit $3 if FY is as good as recent results and holders don't sell cheaply. In the mean time I'm happy to sit on a tidy profit and hope the price doesn't increase too much until after I get my DRP allocation...
