It seems to me archTIS are heavily aligning themselves not only with Defence, but potentially embedding themselves in SSN AUKUS subs production.
This is purely anecdotal, but I note BAE and Babcock are both on the books as clients (they're 2 of the 3 major players - Rolls Royce being the third, but I've not found any clear link here yet - in the UK involved with the nuclear subs). They also have Flinders University on their books (apparently a world leader in nuclear technology), who has just signed a cooperative research agreement with US Navy Undersea Warfare Centre - less than half a year after signing "University AUKUS" arrangements with the Universities of Manchester and Rhode Island.
Add to this their partnerships with Fujitsu, Thales, and Microsoft.
Finally, at least one archTIS thought piece has been published in a Navy publication, which also appears to anecdotally confirm this view.
