In hindsight with the economic compression I would have suggested and thought that the companies decision to focus on Defense (A growing market with huge cagr), as apose to a shotgun approach that management have explicitly said that, that approach would have killed the company. I don't know why you would continue the line of thinking that that is a better decision than focusing on a niche market that finds the products essential and that has the money and capabilities to implement throughout an entire sector at varying capacities.
