Really interesting volume day (why?) and the net short position will confirm. Back from the beach walk across the road in time to see it touch day low of 15c onvery last second trade - could suggest they are exiting in a quicker fashion.

There is enough in recent happening's to suggest such. With West Australian coverage whilst POSCO execs in town - coincidence! Along with NdPr prices rolling on up another 1.61% today. SPP close out and often enough a circuit breaker announcement within a few weeks to trend SP up occurs.

Anyway just my speculation. Could easily be the opposite - sell off as POSCO could be headed to Lynas! Iluka!

Worth a conversation on that. What places ARU to advantage over these 2 - well we all know such plus don't dismiss the Gina factor - she has great report with POSCO given they have a 12.5% stake in HP Roy Hill iron ore mine and have been a long term partner with HP since 2010. Opposed to:
Iluka whom are still working on debt support package - only have a 9-10 year stockpile - no mine although speak of such in NSW in the future and 3rd party processing but reality not as convincing case as ARU.
Lynas - well exceptional and have IP and production scaling - all over it. Big exception their LAMP being in Malaysia and their long serving ties with Japan JARE. I would consider the G7 critical importance of ex China supply would seriously prefer another supplier to Lynas - or it's that same egs in one basket scenario that billions are being spent on to diversify supply chains and bring on MORE suppliers - not just supply.
No guarantees of course and await the facts but it's getting very interesting.

Funny one Gina - she was busy opening a new war memorial she financed along with South Koreans in memory of .... Then at some bush summit she has called for an iron dome similar to that of Israel to protect the Pilbara critical mining infrastructure such is the security importance she emphasis on such - as peculiar that sounds she is 100% on the money - pardon the pun. Resources are decisive in wars - if the Pilbara and it's massive mining infrastructure - mines - rail - ports and shipping was hit - where does all the much needed minerals of war come from. Anyway interesting to say the least.
Australia supplies 70% of South Koreas (POSCOS) steel making materials. Think it may have been 7 billion bucks a year - that is going to increase now on renewables with POSCO again partnering with PLS with lithium and many more to be added short - medium term.
Quiet an amazing country SK - I recall reading a few years back how they were assisting Cambodia to develop from their own incredible development from a poor agricultural economy into a modern - high tech - high end economy in a very short amount of years.
