The offer to cover the debt was based on the idea of us continuing to operate the mine, prior to a decision to walk away. Presumably the offer was in FFX shares for the liquidity?
Who knows? There was a full month of terrible, seemingly knee jerk decisions. They ended up in a mess they were trying to save, then were probably relieved when someone said they could all just walk away.
