    it sounds like instead of going into a TH halt sooner they opted not too so the demerger could still go ahead given it was a condition of the agreement with GF

    It actually would have been significantly more beneficial do TH sooner given the SP was above $1.10 at the time and was trending at that $1 level for a while.
