Some interesting points you raise there Sediaws and I'm not saying there's no merit to be considered as such, however there is a mining code in place and thats why 'honest international investors' are prepared to take the risk investing in the first place as they did in AVZs case, but were not rewarded or supported due to a president and his ministers simply failing to follow their own mining code.

The cost and delay to both investors and the community at large have been colossal and the President at the end of the day is responsible imo.
The changing of Rolex watches from one wrist to another may eventually bare fruit but that is still yet to be proven, being a sort of half-glass full guy I still hold out that this will be the case.

However I personally cannot say swapping out one crook running cami to the chosen incumbents gives me a whole lot of faith in the 'not so new leadership' unless as some speculate on one of the bat channels this is simply but a ruse to get the r..s in the same bowl and deal with them in one fowl swoop in the international courts.

We (AVZ) and the DRC community have undoubtedly as the honourable VB Scarpa has previously pointed out missed the first BIG wave that we were well entitled and positioned to catch, simply due to the lack of honesty and courage shown and afforded to us by the hierarchy of the DRC gov imo.

If this is an example of how the 'New DRC Gov' intends to treat international investment that is not Chinese heaven help them I say!!!

I can see how some have become bitter and jaded and eventually lean towards the dark side and become nothing more than trolls/zombies (as can be seen here on hc on a regular basis) I suspect the cost to many investors both monetary and personally due to this ridiculous unnecessary delay is probably insurmountable, as many investors would not have ever factored in the SS which the DRC does so well better than anyone would be my guess.
