Whiskey, you are correct, they did not “promise”, however the guidance given on PE timeline was about a year and a million dollars. You might have forgotten this in your defence of Far, but here we are 3 years later and who knows the costs and risks of WPL legal costs.
Still, nothing to do with management not thinking things through or communicating accurately with shareholders... just unfortunate circumstances, happens a lot with Far.
