Good observation, DrSwing and I agree, step-out drilling around BUDD192 seems logical on the surface. But I think what’s happening now reflects a more methodical shift in strategy. The latest update shows they’re not just looking for grade repeats they’re trying to model mineral system architecture. The fact they’re applying sulphur isotope and geochronological analysis means they’re mapping mineralisation phases in relation to regional tectono-magmatic events, possibly tying it to Gawler Craton IOCG systems. That’s high-level exploration. Multiple sulphide generations, overprinting, vein-remobilisation this isn’t a single pulse event. You don’t throw drill metres at that without first understanding vectoring, fluid pathways, and structural controls. So yes, assays matter but when you’re targeting zoned VMS or hybrid systems, system context comes first. My bet is, when those step-outs happen, they’ll be surgical and probably very revealing.
