Thanks for all this convo on manufacturing. However, related to my first comment on this, Isnt it fairly irrelevant? We really want to know if a prototype works and then what are its software applications?
There is absolutely no way apple, Samsung or google would add something in a phone without it having any real value. And even if it could add value it would have to good - every millimetre is hot property on phones. Thats why I was suggesting that we need to open it right up for every developer to do create a use case for it.
