Been looking at some Videos on Lab on a chip and thought I'd attach here to help give some reference to what the A1 chip is all about.
There appears to be many uses - not just for blood testing and disease detection but also drug testing before using on humans. These talk about Micro scale and Archer is heading towards Nanoscale. I can understand better Archers earlier progress using 3D printers, but have stepped it up a notch now to using more advanced machines to work on the nano scale to improve sensitivity and build.

" The biochip end-use is initially aimed at addressing the complex detection of diseases affecting the respiratory system, as they remain the world’s most deadly communicable diseases‡. Archer’s aim to miniaturise its biochip transistor components for graphene integration would enable broad-scope functionality in multiplexing for disease detection." ( 8th of April announcement)

Great Steve Jobs quote at the end of the first Video.

" What's important is that you have faith in people,
that they're basically good and smart,
and if you give them the tools,
they'll do wonderful things with them.
    - Steve Jobs

    Happy Sunday!
