With the bio chip, yes, a more well- defined technological roadmap and a few patents. This chip is targeting the diagnostic market and offering the prospect of a mini lab on a chip that doesn't need refrigerated environments, won't need preparation of samples like centrifuges. Also several tests on same sample in one shot through multiplexed channels with multiple sensors in each channel. If any kind of successful detection can be done in a cheaper quicker set up like this, then game on in my opinion. The road to commercialisation is of course a long one. But demonstrating working gFETs would be a big boost to the IP value.
With the quantum processor named 12CQ, one patent for a device that can house some qubits that maintain state at room temperature, one other patent on the proprietary carbon nano onion qubit material . Again the selling point will be getting rid of massive dilution refrigeration that current quantum hardware at IBM, Google use. A quantum device at more ambient temperatures gets rid of the room sized cooling, makes much smaller devices possible.
AXE is unique that it offers a chance to invest at this very early stage. Quantum computing is a hard space to assess. Everything is developed backwards. First find and develop a quantum system with workable qubits, then observe its unique properties and information space, then go look for real world problems that can fit the quantum behaviour of the particular qubit. Meanwhile the quantum device capabilities keep evolving...added qubits, deeper circuits.... Which then means, we throw out a simple use case and find a more complex one. Quantum computing globally is in a highly experimental stage. Accelerating the capabilities of quantum information science. AXE should be able to plug in somewhere and contribute to the bottom line.
