I’m not sure this brings AXE any closer to commercialisation, but someone has opened doors to AXE that are very difficult to open, as another poster keenly observed. (Military/ Defence applications for quantum computing are many, I am sure.)
This, in turn, may cause AXE to pop up on other radars and stimulate more investment.
Exciting time to be involved.
