Had this on a different thread, but figured just as relevant to post on this one...

The announcement (associated with the most recent NC Protect contract with Defence) is especially exciting given how NC Protect may now be purchased, the purpose associated with this contract, and how it's come about.

It's really pleasing to see that "NC Protect is pre-approved for purchase on the Defence Application Portfolio Management portal for easier procurement across Defence". Hopefully this will assist with materially shortening lead-in times for contracts with various parts Defence.

Interestingly, part of the rationalisation of the contract is to "enhance Defence’s control over the 'releasability' of content in a multinational, joint exercise environment with allied nations". Does this mean our allied Defence agencies will also require NC Protect? Is it currently being used in Pitch Black? Could joint exercises be used by Aussie defence forces to indirectly market archTIS' offerings? There are numerous interesting questions that the purpose behind the contract raises, and even more so when it's viewed in conjunction with how this has come about.

Daniel Lai's comments noting the contract is a "new use case for NC Protect within Defence that validates the compelling value the Department sees in the product" is particularly interesting, as it shows there are new use cases constantly being found by our customers - both new, as seen in Singapore, and existing, as seen via this contract - and providing additional opportunities for archTIS to undertake further expansion via existing customers. Hopefully this will lead to further uptake with existing customers, and will lead to additional high-margin, organic revenue growth.

Only time will tell if they're able to continue executing, but good to see new uses being found. Exciting times ahead.
