Just to elaborate, the main body that regulates sorting of wheat from the chaff is the Cloud Services Certification Program (CSCP) by the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD). This is the guidance that government departments receive to choose the cream of the crop when it comes to data security. The program ceased on 2 March 2020 and certification list valid until 27 July 2020. It is currently the gold standard for Australian government departments.
