My thoughts are that they could have held out for a better deal. Maybe even some exploration at Root and Wisa Lake. However, their bank balance was against them, and you never in a good position to negotiate when cash is low.
They have the funds now for 2 to 3 rigs (assume shareholders approve of the sale) for Esker and New Patricia which was always the main priority. Thinking Kas and South limb may not produce anything of substance given the silence on these sites from the company.
My thoughts are that they could have held out for a better deal....
