That was a very interesting piece of audio, and surprisingly, I now have renewed interest in the year ahead for ADV. I honestly do believe we will see some good progress over the next 6 months and a far greater understanding of the ground underneath. Over 100 pegs to now explore. And with the GPR in use this should bring results much quicker and help refine the future drilling campaigns.
It seems the lack of progress we have experienced is a result of a previous Canadian Geo team that ADV had employed. Too slow and too conservative, only drilling in very tight formations. It's explained around the 40 minute mark in the audio that they are now using the same Geo team as AVZ and the CP appears to be more excited about moving across to ADV.
BB mentions that they are hunting for a 10MT reserve before building a plant, however as one person questioned, if they sure up half of that and are pretty sure they can successfully drill the rest, there is every chance BB might pull the trigger to move to production earlier and continue drilling and expanding the resource simultaneously. Also ADV have very fortune to be close to a rail line, hence they staked the corridor leading up to the rail line. More evidence that the BOD are serious in wanting to move this through to production.
Its been a long and frustrating road with ADV basically surrounding themselves with the wrong advice. Maybe I could accuse them of being too slow to move on, but it happened now and I for one am surprised that I find myself having a much more positive outlook for the rest of this year.
Pegs appear to be stacked in flat lying multiples as opposed to a thick solid vertical chunk that is easier to define but generally requires deeper excavation to extract it all. Being located on top of multiple ridges and exposed, ADV's deposit can be attacked from the side, making it easier to get to.
As BB mentioned in the presentation (and I think why we have seen a number of investor presso's in the past few months) they need to sure up some institutional support to help stabilize the SP. Otherwise it will take the resilience of us lowly retail holders to simply hold and accumulate.
For me, this has now become a 'buy' for a medium term view and I think I will resume accumulating over the next few months. 1.4c is a great place to start considering the highs ADV have experienced.
Anyway, just my ramblings in the matter...I think the BOD finally have their act together thanks mostly in part to the new Geo team.
