Goldman Sachs Report
Goldman Sachs published its upgraded lithium price forecasts.
While not approaching the $20,000 per tonne peak reached four years ago for lithium carbonate, the price is more than trending up, it is rising rapidly.According to Goldman Sachs the lithium price will be back to $15,000/t in 2023 while the price for 6% spodumene concentrate will rise from last year's $429/t to $707/t.The bank said its upgraded lithium forecasts were primarily driven by an analysis of EV demand by its Global Auto team.
