China has halted phosphate (DAP) exports.

my understanding is that we import a large proportion of our phosphate from China.
Global demand will increase on this, should help drive up rock phosphate prices.
Also surely it rings some alarm bells that we need to increase our domestic DAP production, we can't rely on China.
