Unless there is a clause, you cannoy just forgoe payment of rents. Yes they are dire times, but i cant just call the bank and tell them even though my home loan rate is fixed at say 4%, in these times i would like it to be only 3%. A deal is a deal.
One would assume that they could negotiate a deferrment perhaps?
Being the landlord, this really should not affect them - especially not long term considering their 14yr WALE.
