Here's my take:
. As Billyen said, it exemplifies how important it is we celebrate qualified civil divergence, and carefully use that to check our own beliefs to avoid bias.
. I've always seen PA and the process (see prev posts) as the key risk in AGY. There must be a reason why nobody has successfully produced BG LCE in the past 4 years as a new producer. Must be damn hard...
. I don't buy this gas business. To me that reeks of a bs excuse. If need be, they could have had a bloody tanker sitting there, considering how much SH value was riding on it, and how much they just destroyed. If there is that much gas needed, how can it be economical? (Hope I'm ignorant and wrong.)
. I've had a bad gut feel about this for a while when news wasn't coming. The theory was: Either PA wants to perfect it, or it ain't quite happening yet. Lesson: You should go with your gut feel (in which case there prolly would have been a blue sky ann!
).
So, what to do? Grin and bear it out? I guess so, but Mgt needs to come clear.
I suppose the one saving grace is that mgt have huge stakes in this. PA has done it before. So it may take a bit longer than thought, may be (a lot) harder, and even if it costs more, given how low brine Li production costs generally are, it should still be very viable. Add to that JORC and resource upgrade and OT agreement - and wow! In 2 months this could already be a nothing but a short blip on the horizon.
Well done to those who have funds to ride this dump and pump. I need the pump first to be liquid again.
