Just my 5c worth, but the analogy to ORE is perhaps meaningful in that ORE have been promising BG since inception and yet have only ever managed IG - and declining production.
Sure, different project and different process but this just highlights that having Li in brine (or rock for that matter) does not equal a successful project, there are many processing hurdles that need to be jumped first.
