You think they're going to just stockpile the battery grade lithium somewhere and wait for the full 2000t before sending it off to Mitsubishi? As soon as it meets spec it will be shipped off to Mitsubishi ASAP and they will pay us for it. Revenue is thus generated - that is how off-takes work (but I suspect you know this). Revenue will start coming in not long after the plant has been commissioned.
By the way, the 500t p/a pilot plant was commissioned and perfected so as to make the up-scaling far quicker and easier (modular). Although I agree that a contingency allowance is prudent, maybe the 12-15months forecast already had the contingency rolled up into it, and that's why they didn't say it would take 12 months? Anyway, whats a few months when you're producing anyway? I've been happy to wait this long, and I will continue to hold until well after we progress to 10,000tp/a. I sure hope you're still posting and not holding at that time.
