I think you're missing my point mate. This company has been 'targeting' funding for years now. Sure, the timeline suggests they hope to secure funding sometime next year, and if you’re feeling optimistic, you could take that 'target' at face value. But to do that, you'd have to ignore all the past 'targets' for securing strategic funding, which, as I mentioned, go back years.
What I’m saying is that the FID is a moot point because AGY don’t have the funds to invest. Another entity, one with actual capital, will be the one making the FID—not AGY. Talking about FID before securing CAPEX funding is akin to shareholders discussing what they'll do once the dividends start rolling in.
This company has a history of biting of far more than it can chew, and they clearly need to focus on one thing at a time. By creating yet another "target", they're again setting themselves up for failure if they can't secure strategic funding within the next 12 months. Common sense tells us that you can't make a FID if you don't have funding available.
