In my view, it is good to have Pete as non executive director of Argosy, hence he saw, followed and knew exactly what's the problem they face. Based on remuneration report, Peter just took around 30K pa for his role which to me a fair amount for his role. He was just appointed not long ago probably 3 years which was too late for him to share his expertise when they built 2kt as I suspect is more Argentinean time took charge.
As for his involvement in this engineering consulting firm, as long as the contract price is fair and reasonable wouldn't be a big issue. Peter no mater how still an employee and receives wages as usual. I can see that he can be taking pay cut from Argosy's book whilst dealing with the engineering drawing etc.
