AGY was claiming that the 500TPA plant was going to generate revenue which would help fund the 2,000TPA plant.
Just as they are now changing the story to the 2,000 commercial plant merely being a 'demonstration facility' (can you imagine being a shareholder who doesn't sell after seeing that? Haha! Ooh, wait...), the story changed on the 500TPA plant too. It went from something which was going to be used to generate money to something which failed to meet its objectives as stated by the company but 'did its job' so they shut it down to 'focus on the 2,000TPA plant'... which apparently now was only a 'demonstration facility' (how short do they think shareholder memories are?).
I suppose they figure if someone is still holding at this point they're probably going accept whatever nonsense they put into their announcements.
