Undoubtedly positive news. Congrats all.
Just trying to understand the implications of this on ARL will have 50% of the JV. JV will spend A$98.5m on DFS completion via "staged equity contributions over the next 18 months".
So ARL need to contribute approximately $49.25m from our own pocket for this.
But the consortium can/will earn in up to 50% of KNPL. SO does ARL retain the other 50%? Thus in effect we would own 75% of the entire project (25% via the JV plus the 50% remaining?)
