After 2 years’ hard work and spending $43M (remaining $17M), this jr explorer managed to find a JORC compliant MRE of 3 MT Ni/Co of 0.7g/T and 0.4 g/T, respectively. In addition, the geology and mineralisation are economically favourable.
Due to urgent geopolitics, SMM and MC volunteered to carry out the DFS and secure $3.1 billion capex funding for mine development. SMM and MC will do it for free. And financiers are keen to lend to this jr at low rates.
How would the sharemarket have reacted to this news?
