It’s somewhat reassuring to know you have the likes of Mitsubishi and Sumitomo that obviously have extensive experience, knowledge and resources spend 2 years intricately researching the KNP project decide to go ahead.
Of course we still need FID but with the Japanese partners putting 100 million dollars of skin in the game there can be no question of the viability of this project.
When the MOU was first announced it was largely dismissed by the financial commentators “ never going to happen “ etc etc just looked at the capex and the fact it was Laterite along with nickel price and that was that.
You would have to seriously question the credibility and competence of any commentators that dismiss this project now having seen the confidence shown by the JC to the tune of 100 million dollars.
