A lot of people are going to get burnt over the next few years. The Simandou train line is currently being built. It's finally happening. That will shock the WA economy a bit in a few years. China will finally be able to manipulate the main cog in the WA mining industry.
Nickel industry is done due to indonesia and their investment in cheap nickel.
The heavy expansion into more gas production will have mixed results.
Here's hoping they stop fking about and actually get some diversification into renewables happening. Not looking likely currently.

There is also another 70 000(ish) people coming into the state under the new 482 visas. So pay rate decreases for existing residents on top of rising interest rates.
Great time for big business or the ultra wealthy, not so much for the working class I suspect.
