I'm amazed that more people aren't up in arms about that share sale. There are so many important questions that remain unclear. When did the BOD start talking to the Germans about selling 13 million of their own shares ? Were other "Top 20" shareholders asked if they wanted to sell a portion of their shares to the Germans too ? How could the BOD be arranging to sell their shares at the same time as having confidential discussions with this investor, and yet this not raise red flags somewhere at the ASX ? Why was the identity of the German investor withheld from the market, even at the point of release of the ASX announcement (simply referred to as a "European Investor") ? How is it in the best interests of all VRX shareholders that the BOD walk away with a lump sum in cash from a "strategic investor" ? You just could couldn't make this stuff up, its so bad.
