My personal sentiment is that Canadians place a higher premium on gold miners/prospectors (relative to the marginally more risk-averse/skeptical nature of Australian investors when it comes to gold, which is only exacerbated by their seeming current obsession with lithium stocks). This was somewhat apparent early in the "Wits 2.0 story" where in many investors' views, NVO seemed disproportionately more expensive to ARV even after considering the difference in potential based on land packages, etc.

If it's as easy/accessible for them to invest in ARV as it is for NVO, the proportion of ARV owned by Canadian investors will increase and that premium may then come into play in terms of a marginally higher market cap/share price for ARV.
