It would make sense if ARV, ANX and even DVP and some other Cu Junious in the Pilbara all got their act together and looked at a map, and decided to put a plant within reach of as many base metal deposits as they could. There are numerous idle plants in C&M already in Australia and numerous small stranded base metal projects between Karratha and Port Hedland and once everyone got over their own ego's and put a plant somewhere sensible, these guys could all stop mining shareholders' pockets and being marketers, and actually become mining companies....

I don't know why they are all ignoring the obvious, they could sit down with a map of current granted mining leases with existing power and water nearby and with a map of current and planned haul roads and do the maths - how friggin hard can it be to do something and co-operate?
