From personal experience I can assure you they have some standards, I applied for a 75k car loan and got totally denied last year! They didn't even come back with a lower figure! Must not have liked 'ProPunter' as my job title
11k loan over 6 years at 20% is like $67/week, pretty sure a packet of cigarettes costs that much these days.
Low income people are fortunate to be able to borrow from alternative lenders like Money3/Solvar, the alternative is no car and may very well be expensive rideshares and taxis to pick the kids up from school and go to/from work.
Good buying at these NTA levels imo
