This is my expectation. Shares cannot be issued to Intermedia because the ongoing prospectus was denied by ASIC due to the delay in supply of 1H accounts.

Given the exclusion date it would appear the 1H accounts may have only just been submitted on the 3rd of May OR the Intermedia share issue was requested/assessed on that date?

It's not the most informative update really. I guess BIG didn't expect they would not be trading when the deal was struck so long ago ...
