And where is that Chairman now...IMO they're both at fault. The Chairman should have known the sensitivities around the talks with said competitor and conveyed the conversation to the CEO and the Board. Legally, who knows where this lands (I'm no Lawyer) but opticially it was bad.. no doubt about it.
Said competitor would not have any influence over ASIC whatsoever, and that Rubinsztein LinkedIn post.. Sheez.. I'm guessing only one partially true point in there.
