Typically ASIC if they find anything will impose a fine in multiples of $33,000, usually only one unless they consider there have been multiple offences. This is the normal approach and Directors take it without admitting liability. Anything really suspicious then its off to court. Many company's have had this, its not the end of the world just a little bit confronting.
