I voted against the proposal today and I would strongly encourage everyone else to do so as well.

It’s ridiculous that the takeover is being basically priced at NTA with no premium being offered for control, no allowance being made for the recent improvement in the outlook for the residential sector, and no allowance being made for the likely recovery in the company’s earnings over the next few years.
