I completely agree that we're victims here. Not of ASIC - I don't see an argument for them being at fault. I don't like ASX in this though. I'd have preferred a few different outcomes, which they have elected not to take. We don't have sufficient evidence as to why they've taken this route though, so I reserve judgement against them. I think ASIC and ASX's SOC/SORs have been pretty damning against ISX though. So I put the blame for the suspension on them.
Example: Criminals kidnap a child. The police lock down the suburb. Businesses lose thousands of dollars. Traffic is chaos. In that circumstance, do you blame the police for the inconvenience to you? No, you blame the kidnapper.
In this circumstance, both ASIC (independent government regulator) and ASX have suggested improper action by our BOD. Yeah, we're getting screwed. I blame ISX for committing the action that brought the investigation...
