I think people are still underestimating the affect Covid had on ASM. It cruelled the business for sure by delaying everything for 2 years.

They were trying to get four products developed in the Metal plant but because of staffing problems caused by lockdowns, sickness, and travel restrictions everything was delayed and they decided to do one product at a time.

They are now over that and moving forward but the World isn't exactly a stable place and that can't be helping.

The big thing that might work in ASM's favor is the Western supply chain pact. We have to see if ASM can finalise agreements with that in place.

If the monopoly tightens supplies of mineral products to the West because of the tariffs it might make it real urgent to get it all moving.
