One of the main issues with procuring raw materials from China (and MAYBE Vietnam) is modern slavery issue. Metalising in Korea and mining in Australia would mitigate the risk of modern slavery.
Until we have Dubbo, we do not really have any unique value proposition.
Having said above, I think it’s prudent to secure supply so that KSM can do something while Dubbo is being built.
