Not sure where you are seeing all of that.
This is simply an agreement to expand their current mine to enable a 5yr supply to KSM, in parallel to Dubbo being built.
This ANN does not state that they can't secure short-term supply of material to feed KSM. That material could be sourced on market from other suppliers.
This ANN is good and shows ASM are hedging their bets with material supply.
